The KF series (also referred to as NW or QF) is a standardized family of vacuum components designed for small-diameter vacuum connections. The system includes flanges, elbows, tees, crosses, and flexible bellows, all manufactured to ISO 2861 specifications for interchangeability.
Connection is achieved using a circumferential clamp that compresses a centering ring with an elastomer O-ring between mating flanges, providing a reliable, high-integrity vacuum seal. This modular design allows for quick assembly and disassembly without tools, making it ideal for laboratory and industrial environments where frequent system reconfiguration is required.
The KF designation originates from the German term Kleinflansch, meaning “small flange.”
